OMANI hails from the Monterey Bay Area bringing deep hypnotic grooves and satisfying positive vibes. Expect anything from playful, lighthearted, fun tunes, to lover’s rock, mixed with conscious thought provoking anthems, and inspirational roots, sprinkled with some live dub, as well as most everything in between.

The music (and band name) symbolizes a message of "positivity”. Songs that make you think, make you wanna move, and make you feel good.

Since 2007, Omani has been developing a following and bringing their uplifting reggae music to clubs, festivals, and events. Performing mainly original songs, as well as spontaneous improvisational dub jams, yet sometimes also a tasty selection of a few cover songs by Dennis Brown, Tenor Saw, Bob Marley, and other nice features such as reggae versions of Steve Miller Band's "Fly Like An Eagle" and the Eagles "Hotel California".

Omani has performed with artists such as Don Carlos, Kymani Marley, Israel Vibration, Big Mountain, The Itals, Edi Fitzroy, Prezident Brown, Kevens, Richie Spice, Spanner Banner, Lloyd Brown, Ras Michael and the Sons of Negus, Messenjah Selah, Arkaingelle Tanya Stephens, Ras Indio, Batch, Ras Attitude, Kevens, Lion Camp, and more.
